Union Gospel Mission of Portland wanted to produce a new video to present at its annual Spring fundraising banquet and to use as a development tool throughout the year. The goal of the project was to inform existing and potential donors about LifeChange, a faith-based recovery community for men and women with a history of alcohol and drug addictions.
Union Gospel Mission turned to Spirit Media to determine how to best tell the LifeChange story in an informative, yet compelling manner. It was agreed to profile a LifeChange graduate, but to also deliver vital information about the LifeChange community.
Spirit Media brought its gift for building relationships to the entire production. As a result, LifeChange residents responded with a level of trust that led to an honest portrayal of an individual struggling with addiction and loss.
Donations at the event where the video was first presented exceeded $115,000.
