Portland Rescue Mission is committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness by offering a safe and healing environment for men, women, and children. In order to provide hope, transformation and total life recovery to people who are homeless in the community, Portland Rescue Mission requires funding to continue crisis intervention and to operate its two facilities; Shepherd's Door and the Burnside Men's Shelter.
Portland Rescue Mission wanted to significantly extend its impact and engage potential donors, but needed creative and strategic direction. Spirit Media partnered with Portland Rescue Mission to develop a creative brief that outlined the story of transformation from homelessness to regaining a productive, independent lifestyle.
The creative team produced a seven minute DVD that presents personal stories as told by individuals who have experienced total life recovery through Portland Rescue Mission's programs. The DVD's are being distributed to motivate donor contributions and to increase awareness of the non profit's impact on the community.
