Northwest Medical Teams is a nonprofit humanitarian aid organization working to reduce suffering around the world and in the Pacific Northwest.
To that end, Spirit Media partnered with Northwest Medical Teams to produce a one-hour telethon, “Gift of Hope”. The television broadcast was strategically produced to increase awareness of the organization, and to develop funding for people affected by disaster, conflict and poverty.
Spirit Media provided scriptwriting and consultation services, complete on-site television production services and equipment, crew and talent management, graphic design, and post-production editing.
The telethon, hosted by actor Grant Goodeve and Miss America 2002, Katie Harman, aired in three television markets including Seattle, WA and Portland, OR. As a result, caller donations and the number of first time donors greatly exceeded Northwest Medical Teams’ projections.
