Spirit Media and Central Catholic High School welcomed legendary comedian Bob Newhart to the annual Central Catholic Auction held at the Oregon Convention Center in April of 2009.
The evening was headlined by famed actor-comedian Bob Newhart, who mined his Catholic roots to entertain a captive audience. At Mr. Newhart's request, the Central Catholic High School jazz band performed throughout the evening. Funds raised in the course of a silent auction, oral auction and a paddle raise represent an investment in the students.
Spirit Media's creative team worked with Central Catholic to refine event flow and pacing, live creative direction, graphic design, and managed the mastering of videos and power point presentations shown during the program.
"Even in a tough economy the Central Catholic Auction reminds us of the power of combining great event strategy with a great cause to a loyal donor base," says Spirit Media president Bill Dolan. "We were delighted to hear, once again, that this year's program exceeded their fundraising expectations."
