Spirit Media tapped for Palau CityFest and Webcast
Portland, OR, September 4, 2008 - Spirit Media, a Portland based creative agency, provided strategic and creative direction for the Luis Palau Association Season of Service events including the City Fest Celebration held August 22-23, 2008 at Tom McCall Waterfront Park. The Season of Service, an unprecedented partnership between the civic, business and faith community, benefited the community with the following:
- More than 26,000 community volunteers
- 400 sites to provide summer lunches for school kids
- "Facelifts" for many schools through campus cleanup activity
- Participation of 625 churches
An estimated 185,000 people attended the two-day Luis Palau City Fest Celebration while thousands viewed the high definition broadcast in English and Spanish on the web.
