Spirit Media Earns Emmy Nomination and Multiple Awards
Portland, OR, May 9, 2006 - Spirit Media, a Portland based creative agency, announces 'Livin It: Unusual Suspects' has been given the nod for an Emmy award nomination in the 'Documentary-Current Issues' category by the Northwest Chapter of the National Association of Television Arts and Sciences. The nationally televised one-hour program was produced by Spirit Media in association with PalauFest Productions.
To date, 'Livin It: Unusual Suspects' has received the following program awards:
- Bronze Telly Award
- 3rd Place - National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) Judges Award for "Best Program"
The 'Livin It: Unusual Suspects' promotional trailer received:

- 2nd Place - NRB Judges Award for "Best Spot"
'Livin It: Unusual Suspects' reveals the life stories of evangelist Luis Palau, actor Stephen Baldwin, skateboard legend Christian Hosoi, and music artist Chynna Phillips: four unique individuals joined by a common purpose. Former U.S. President Bill Clinton, actor Alec Baldwin, and Grammy Award winner Kirk Franklin also appear in the documentary.
Stephen Baldwin and Kevin Palau are Executive Producers of 'Livin It: Unusual Suspects'. Senior Producers are Bill Dolan and Doug Steward, Anne DeRock, Producer.
The documentary is currently being distributed internationally on DVD. Winners of the 43rd Annual Northwest Regional Emmy Awards will be announced in Seattle on Saturday, June 3.
