Spirit Media partners with Sheriff's Office Domestic Violence Team

Portland, OR, April 13, 2006 - Spirit Media, a Portland based creative agency, partnered with Clackamas County Sheriff's Office and United Way of the Columbia Willamette to produce an eight minute video for DVERT, the Domestic Violence Enhanced Response Team.

Spirit Media provided complete video production services including message strategy, videography, scriptwriting, talent management, graphic design and editing. Through the personal account of a domestic violence survivor, the video presents DVERT's multi-agency approach which offers immediate and follow through assistance to victims, holds offenders accountable, and increases the number of prosecutions.

"We're trying to make it easier for people to report domestic violence," states Clackamas County Sheriff Craig Roberts. "Historically it was something that was kept within the home. The trend in the United States is clearly changing. This type of behavior is not acceptable."
